Police Release & Vehicle Compound Collection
Need transport after a vehicle has been authorised for release from a police compound? Send the compound details, vehicle condition and destination so we can arrange suitable collection.
Request police release
Send the essentials now. Add vehicle and access details if available.
What happens after your request
Once we have the pickup location, vehicle and service details, we usually need around 8 minutes to check a suitable available driver and the price. This is a coordination estimate, not an arrival time. We confirm the quote and estimated arrival before you decide; complex requests can take longer.
The details that help us arrange the right vehicle
- Compound name, full address, opening hours and collection appointment if required.
- Confirmation that release is authorised and which documents the compound requires.
- Vehicle condition, keys, wheel or steering issues and delivery postcode.
Recovery transport does not itself authorise a vehicle release. Confirm the compound’s requirements and any fees directly with them. We arrange the vehicle movement after the necessary release steps are completed and agree our transport price separately. Tell us if the vehicle cannot legally be driven or will not start.
Coverage through our team and recovery partners
We operate through our nationwide recovery network. We assess local requests and wider enquiries across the mapped road-distance coverage of approximately 250 miles from Glasgow, with the wider Manchester area also available for enquiries. We use suitable recovery partners where appropriate; these pages do not represent depots in every town.
Send the exact postcode or pickup pin. The quote, attending operator and arrival estimate depend on availability, vehicle suitability and access. A place appearing in a guide is not a guaranteed dispatch.

Questions before booking
Does your quote include compound fees?
Our recovery quote covers only the services expressly agreed with us. Compound, storage or release charges must be checked separately.
Can you collect without release authorisation?
Collection must be authorised by the compound. Confirm its documentation and appointment requirements before arranging the operator.
