East Neuk: Anstruther, Crail & Kingsbarns: a real 5-mile service coverage zone
This 5-mile East Neuk circle is tightly focused on Anstruther, Crail, Kingsbarns and neighbouring coastal communities. It is not a St Andrews city page: its purpose is to cover the A917 coastal corridor and the smaller road network that links the East Neuk villages.
The A917 is the main coastal route through Kingsbarns, Crail, Cellardyke, Anstruther and toward Pittenweem. B9131 provides an inland St Andrews–Anstruther connection, while B9171/B940 link rural East Neuk roads around Crail and the A915 side.
Harbour streets, historic village centres and tourist parking can be tight for a recovery truck. Send photos if the vehicle is in a narrow close, confined car park or on a steep harbour approach. If the vehicle is on the A917, give the nearest village and direction.
Base transparency: Lifesaver Vehicle Recovery is based in Glasgow. This page describes a genuine service coverage area and does not claim a separate office, depot or staffed base in East Neuk: Anstruther, Crail & Kingsbarns.
